My undergraduate degree has helped me build on my computer science knowledge. However, through my readings, I have learned that technical knowledge is not enough to launch any product (in my case a software product). In fact, launching a product - including software products - requires knowledge of multiple things such as market research or analysis, cost-effectiveness, marketing, public relations, managing resources, etc. With this realization dawned the need to do a formal business management program.

However, in this ever-changing and uncertain world of business, there is a constant need to evolve business strategies and be on the lookout for consistently updating the organizational goals and strategies according to the changing business environment. Even previously successful brands such as [COMPANY_NAME] had to bow down in front of the innovation and strategic changes made by competitors like [COMPANY_NAME]. The current pandemic too has reinforced the need for strategic business management in order to stay afloat in the constantly changing business world. In such a scenario, I did not want to do just plain business management but rather study Master of Management in Business Data Analytics, so that I am well prepared to tackle the constant changes taking place in the business environment by using various analytical tools.

A Master of Management in Business Data Analytics will help me get prepared for a managerial role in the ever-evolving world of business. Apart from building my fundamental business knowledge, the program will help me build the knowledge and skills needed to plan and predict future trends and changes, make clear long term goals, allocate resources wisely, and work around the strengths and weaknesses of my organization to make the business a success in the long run.

My long-term goal is to become an entrepreneur and develop software products and solutions that will meet the needs of my clients. In preparation for this role, I wish to take up the role of a Product Strategist after my Master's program and leverage my learnings to be responsible for assessing the company's current product performances, identifying newer product opportunities, and working for future product lines.

Growing up in [CITY], I have been actively involved in extracurricular activities all throughout my school years. Apart from performing well in academics, I was a constant face in the different activities that our school organized. Participating in these not only helped me become more confident of myself but also developed my leadership skills. Since I was good in Mathematics and Science, I decided to study for a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and got admitted to [INSTITUTION_NAME] in [CITY].

The program played a vital role in helping me learn the fundamentals of computer science and I thoroughly enjoyed learning about the various topics that were taught. During the program, I worked on two major projects. My first project was "Attendance Calculating System", my team worked on creating an Attendance Calculating System that calculates the attendance of any registered student based on the number of classes attended. Even though I was new to the concept of file handling and coding, I took the initiative to learn it well and helped my team deliver a successful project.

For my next project, "Monument Detection System", my team created a prediction model which predicts the monument in the image uploaded by the user and gives information with respect to that image. Working as the team leader for this project helped me further build on my leadership and problem-solving skills. I remember how the team was demotivated and lost hope when the accuracy of the model was not obtained in the initial stages of development. Being the problem solver that I am, I trained more data in order to achieve the desired result and was able to overcome this problem and motivate the team back into action.

I also interned at "[COMPANY_NAME]". During this internship, I along with my team members created a website for a steel industry that consists of all the information related to its operations. This internship taught me about teamwork and how working for team goals should always be kept above personal goals.

The undergraduate program also gave me opportunities to upskill myself in various ways. I attended many activities organized by groups like [ORGANIZATION_NAME] or various student clubs. I also got the opportunity to participate in one of the events where we had to emphasize the need for a green campus and the need to preserve the environment by making people socially aware through social media.

I completed the undergraduate program with a CGPA of 7.89/10 in First Class With Distinction and wanted to pursue a Masters degree in Management from an international university. However, the Covid pandemic had closed many international borders and I had to wait for few months.

During this time, I interned at a startup called "[COMPANY_NAME]" that gave technical solutions and software related services to the clients. To make use of the time I had, I also pursued courses in investment banking and some basics of accounting.

Now that things are looking brighter, it is time now for me to pursue my dream of a Master in Management in Business Data Analytics and therefore my application to the [UNIVERSITY_NAME]. Studying in Canada has always been a dream of mine.
