Statement of Purpose
I recall participating in a workshop with my classmates during our semester break. The workshop was essentially a core-oriented activity that also included hardware components such as the Arduino UNO and software namely the Arduino IDE, both of which were difficult to comprehend and were not in my field of expertise. I was always drawn to management, and during my graduation, I was an active participant of the managing committee for the college festival, something that I enjoyed immensely. My primary motivation for enrolling in an MBA program was to change the field in which I graduated. Mostly because I had no connection to any of the subjects I studied during the engineering program. Hence I have opted for an MBA course in human resource management at [UNIVERSITY_NAME].
I graduated as an engineer in the field of electronics and telecommunications from [INSTITUTE_NAME], which is part of the well-known [UNIVERSITY_NAME]. As a pre-university science student, I always intended to major in engineering because I wanted to follow in my brother's footsteps. And it was primarily because my major interests were in chemistry and physics that led to this decision. My favorite topics during graduation have been multimedia communication, fiber optics and network, and environmental studies, primarily because all of these topics are theoretical, and I have always been drawn to the non-technical aspects of my domain.
In my final year of college, I worked on a project. This project was essentially a part of the academics and was given credit. The project was titled monitoring and feeding system for pets, and it was a one-year project with four seminars explaining the progress of the project. At the end of each semester, there were two project evaluations. My team consisted of three students from my class, and we divided the work equally among the three of us. I largely focused on the model's outlook because my interest was more in the hardware component; I had to write content for all of the seminars and project reviews, which was quite a task.
The most challenging part of the project was trying to overcome the pandemic's obstacles, as there were few options for the components and we had to make do with what we had. Furthermore, I managed the budget and kept records of the total expenditures for the model, which was extremely crucial. Eventually, the project was completed and received the best project award at an inter-college project seminar organized by another university. We were recommended to sign the intellectual property rights, but we were unable to do so due to financial constraints.
I completed a one-month internship. It was a technical course that included a comprehensive program on application development referred to as full-stack web development. I divided it into two stages, dedicating 10 days to gaining knowledge of the concept and the remaining 20 days to completion of the project. A considerable amount of time was spent on research before the beginning of the course. My first process was to set a goal for myself that I could complete by the end of the day. Every day after college, I used to work for 5 hours, and consistency was the key to completing a great project. Following the project, I was required to give specific and detailed seminars about it in college, with a credit score at the end of the semester. I performed extremely well, and I received numerous compliments on my confidence and interpretation.
I competed in musical competitions at the college festival, as well as a henna artist, and won a few prizes. I represented our college at an inter-college festival held at the university. I was a member of the NSS team throughout my graduation and attended a few camps, one of which was a blood donation camp held in the college and affiliated with a nearby hospital, which was a huge success.
The MBA course will allow me to progress in my career, and I am enthusiastic to probe into the business acumen research that is an automatic part of experiential education in MBAs completed in the United Kingdom. I am optimistic that by being approved into an MBA program, I will be able to fully examine my possibilities, and that this degree will provide me with the opportunity to learn more about management principles and practices in the real world. I am confident that the more knowledge I gain about management and team management, the more I will be able to incorporate it into my role.
After completing my MBA studies at your prestigious institute, my goal is to find a desirable position that will allow me to put my skills and knowledge to use and eventually be a human resource manager at a reputed company. An MBA degree will provide me with numerous opportunities in a range of sectors, enabling me to pursue a career-oriented MBA degree and gain access to excellent job opportunities in my desired field.
