Having been raised in a family with a strong value of hard work, dedication, and determination, I have learned that there are no shortcuts to success. My goals from a young age have scared me, but over the years I have seen myself doing more than I ever thought possible. I find inspiration in everyone around me, as I believe everyone is good at something. This helps me discover my own strengths and work on improving them. As a girl, I do not think anyone but her own father stands as an idol and I am no more and no less. He is extremely focused, generous, and diligent. His broader outlook on life is the reason behind my success so far. I can say that my family background has given me flexibility and versatile qualities to adapt to new environments and work with a positive attitude.

During my engineering I was the Student Council member and Executive Student Coordinator of [UNIVERSITY]. I have also been an active member of CSI, student branch, [CITY] region and also volunteered at the CSI national conference. Additionally, I actively participated and won in various sports activities for inter school and college competitions that has enhanced my skills in extra classroom activities with integration of my mental and physical development. I was fortunate to get an exposure on various technical and non-technical workshops that were provided as part of the curriculum in my university. Holistic development provided by my graduate college ensured that I choose the next step towards my career path into pursuing my MBA after engineering.

During my internships, I worked on topics of Internet of Things which was to detect water pollution. Being a part of the research part of R&D team was to gather information from online resources and carried out protocols of experimental procedures laid out by primary researchers. I have also worked with two start-up companies – one on the module to find Brand Ambassador & Analyse posts on Instagram and on the other on different modules of company project as a Project Manager. I was maintaining and coordinating the project progress, controlling schedules, assigning tasks and participating in client meetings. This experience from start-ups gave me the exposure to the verticals of the company.

Moving to the professional background and experience, I have worked with two Big 4 consulting companies i.e., [COMPANY] for 2.1 years and currently at [COMPANY]. Unlike college, the workplace was more driven by deadlines and client requirements. Working in mobile technology, I soon started to improve my analytical skills and was able to comprehensively improve my decision-making abilities and work on tight deadlines. I was constantly appreciated in my office and awarded for my commitment, hard work and being a quick learner. Therefore, after careful consideration, I decided that further studying would be not only be useful, but perhaps essential in developing my career potential and providing me with greater opportunities for future success. The corporate experience in Big 4 firms has added value to my ambitions and gave a completely different perspective to success and determination. I am confident working in a fast-paced international business environment. However, during these years I have encountered numerous obstacles and unforeseen challenges. Determined to make the most of it, I found myself extending my own boundaries and choose Canada for my higher studies.

My strong desire to become an entrepreneur from a couple of years has built my interest towards understanding business for which I had pursued my MBA in India and to understand business and technology at an international level, I am now looking forward to higher studies in Canada. My experience had made me wiser of the opportunities and necessities and I was aware of how technology was changing that path. Moving to Canada, I envision myself swiftly transitioning into a leader and bringing to the peer group the maturity of working in multi-cultural teams while I work towards my own aspirations and carve out my future.

Based on my research, Canada has become an ideal place for higher studies. Universities from Canada have a long history and reputation in terms of academic performance and high graduate employability rates. Canada is one of the safest countries in the world, with a low crime rate. Most study programs delivered by Canadian universities focus a lot on research and students get to engage in exciting experiments and projects, meant to provide a complete study experience, based on innovation and forward-thinking.
