I am [NAME] and I was born and brought up in [CITY], Rajasthan – the city that I have seen develop from a heritage city to a global metropolitan and much more through the years. As my external environment went on racing by me, my personal space was calm and positive. Being a part of various boarding schools, I was taught how to compromise and above all respect every individual as an equal and more. This contradiction of spaces has given me a more balanced identity.

I wish to pursue a career that draws all experiences together and allows me to be a part of the ever-emergent Hospitality Industry. It will help me gain practical knowledge of the industry and I will have a better understanding of topics such as hospitality, geography, tourism, customer service, business math, hospitality law, accounting, convention marketing, and hotel reservations systems.

I understand the importance of hospitality department along with its range and its scope. Greatly inspired by the work of CEOs working in the tourism companies, I aspire to truly excel in this role. With this career, I aim at a constructive development of the society and different countries by bringing the meaningful interaction between the company and its tourists.

My strong interest in people management developed way back from my school times. I was privileged to be a student at one of the most prestigious and culturally rich schools of India followed by reading my graduation degree at a Management university in India. During my years at school, I was very active which have enlightened me to be more responsible, to be able to make a quick rationalised decision, become a leader in the crowd and to have the spirit to take every shortcoming gracefully. Whereas my graduation degree endowed me with the foundation of various management modules including People and Organisation, Hotel Management, Hotel Industry, Cookery and Human Resource Management. I chose to make the most of these prospects and managed to be an exceptional student throughout my academic life.

I've always been keen to apply what I had learned at school and university and so I decided to take the opportunity of working with various tourism companies in India. Initially, I monitored meaningful work experience in the tourism industry by understanding the entire process of head-hunting including researching, mapping, approaching, engaging, interacting, bettering the service, etc. All my work experiences have fortified me with a range of business skills. I would like to complete my education and to have confidence along with more knowledge/experience to open up a tourism/hospitality company or probably work for some years with a tourism company and enhance myself and then do the same.

Some of my attributes are that I am ambitious and inquisitive. People say, I possess leadership qualities and I like to experiment with a lot of things which includes – food, travel, cultures, etc. I am a fast learner and strongly motivated by the will to succeed which also motivates people around to perform the best. I am very particular and precise at my work and present myself up to the standard of what is expected out of me. In my spare time, I enjoy socialising and networking. Being a keen listener, I take pleasure in meeting and interacting with people of varied backgrounds. Moreover, I am an enthusiastic traveller and a reader.

And also, to better the society and to help a person in need, I am always connected with an NGO or the other. In the past, I have worked with a blind school in [CITY] helping them to record the audio books. Interacted and taught the kids suffering from Aids at an NGO called [ORGANIZATION_NAME], [CITY]. India, having a lot of people below the poverty line are on the streets begging for food and shelter. Therefore, keeping this in mind, every winter we have a drive in which we collect extra pair of clothes from the society and distribute it to the people in need. We call this drive "[PROGRAM_NAME]". Also, every year, we celebrate Christmas by giving tea and cakes to the people on the streets at an early hour as in India it's very cold during that season. It gives me immense pleasure to do the little things for people and to gain their blessings in return.

After my education, my ultimate vision in life is to work in a tourism company that places priority on professionalism and lead such a company towards success by making use of knowledge and experience amassed. Researching about what the Management and Hospitality course entails at the University and the rewards it holds, I believe it will equip me with the right knowledge and skills needed to follow my chosen career. I, therefore, wish to be a part of your university family which can open the doors of advancement in my chosen field of study.
