Statement of Purpose

Justice delayed is justice denied! Being a daughter of an Advocate, I often heard this quote. But understanding its conception, philosophy and jurisprudence in the present context requires sound and plausible knowledge in Law. A transformative society such as I live in will put me in a position to choose my fate, my goal and my destiny. Why can't there be a destiny where all laws serve the community I live in? Why can't there be a goal to achieve my destiny? Finding answers to these foregoing questions led me to choose Law as my profession. I truly believe that law is the sole and the major factor for civilizing society and a crusader to public wrongs.

# Academic Background

I scored 85% in Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) and 70% in Higher Secondary Certificate. I hold a bachelor's degree in computer applications with 86.3% marks and am the topper of my batch. Thereafter I chose Law as my career.

# Professional Experience

For the past five years, I have worked as a legal assistant and I began my internship as a paralegal for a public prosecutor who has 38 years of experience in the Criminal field. This further nourished me and helped me to build my extensive skills in this regard.

During my internship, apart from case filings and documents related to, I also dealt with the clients and their grievances. I familiarized myself with both substantial and procedural laws, thus helping me to assist in filing paperwork for numerous cases each day. With my due interest in the field, drafting became one of my hobbies. I have done my internship at The District Court also. I am currently doing Court practice's professional internship and training of legal proceedings. Undoubtedly, it is an experience to understand different nuances and to comprehend novel disciplines quickly. Moreover, it will be a good opportunity to hone my skills for my profession as an Advocate in future.

I am good at technology skills and secured first class with distinction in the IT field and I was also active in extracurricular activities. I am a sporty and health-conscious person. Being an athlete, I hold certificates for discus throw and javelin throw and I am a throwball and a volleyball player and also won throwball matches under my captaincy. Other than sports activities, dancing becomes one of my passions in my life with my choreographing skill. I do participate in the plethora of dance events as the only solitary female performer in my whole batch during my course of study. As a volunteer in National Service Scheme (NSS), I worked with government-oriented school students and taught them the fundamental elements of the law.

During my undergraduate I was an Intern with Union Government's [ORGANIZATION_NAME]. I was the only selected student from my batch for an industrial visit during my UG.
