The world revolves around money and I have always been fascinated with the various economic, commercial and financial aspects of it. Right from high school where I chose to study the Commerce stream of subjects like Economics and Accountancy, I developed a deep interest in studying the flow of money, its categories and its management. The influence of my father who owns a business and my sister who is a Chartered finance practitioner inspired me to undertake my Bachelor's studies in Commerce. As my understanding of economics, corporate laws, accounting, audit, taxes and financial management expanded so did my aspirations. Thus, I worked hard to clear the Chartered Accountancy professional examinations and completed my Master's studies in Commerce (Banking and Finance) in 2020. As a practising finance professional, I have found the real-time application of management practices in corporate finance, financial accounting, strategic investment and portfolio management domains to be quite intriguing. By studying at [UNIVERSITY]'s MBA – Finance program, I hope to facilitate financial advisory, analysis and overall management services for an MNC.

My academic performance since school reflects my commitment to academic success. I was ambitious from the beginning and secured the second rank in my school in IGSCE exams. Post-school education, I enrolled for the B Com program at [UNIVERSITY]. Here, I quickly grasped theoretical concepts and practices in the areas of finance, investment management and accountancy. I was fortunate to learn under an inspirational faculty and amid a great academic environment at the university campus. My interest in financial management and financial markets stems from their inspiration. Under their guidance, I completed my major project (Marketing) on marketing strategies of [COMPANY] and various other brands and Minor projects on Financial Ratios and StartUp Finance. During these three years, my first experience of a professional work environment came during the internship at a Chartered Accountancy firm as an Articled Assistant. This helped me understand the real-time finance, tax and investment services performed by finance professionals. Inspired, I took a year gap after my bachelor's education to clear my Chartered Accountancy examinations in 2021.

However, before I started preparing for CA studies, I enrolled in the Masters in Commerce program at [UNIVERSITY]. Here I studied Banking & Finance, Macro Economics, Corporate Finance, Accounting and Strategic Management. These subjects also helped me in my studies for CA final examinations. As a part of the curriculum, I conducted interesting and informative projects on themes like the textile and weaving industry in India and Indian real estate companies. I received the Best presenter award for project 'Futures & Options' for which I studied the Indian Derivatives market in detail. As a result, I was inspired to study stock markets, investment strategies, and financial systems and took up a few online courses on the same. I have decided to give these interests a more practical direction and look forward to making a career in the international finance sector through an MBA experience.

I am applying for an MBA (Finance) at [UNIVERSITY] to gain in-depth knowledge in the field of business and finance. The university has expertise in MBA which is the primary reason that made me select it. Finance has a great scope and is the lifeline of all organization and commercial activities. The MBA finance course offered by the university emphasizes the global dimensions of financial management practices and experiential learning enriched by recent academic research and real-world examples. I look forward to gaining valuable skills and exploring my management, negotiation, planning and problem-solving abilities with the university's help.

I have chosen Canada because it is home to some of the most renowned universities and institutions especially in terms of an MBA education. Its universities and educational hubs are globally recognized and will hold great importance in my career development. I aim to use the course and the opportunities that will come across to the fullest and give my best for the same. Post-MBA, I will actively seek the placement opportunities offered by the University as well as other multinational companies in Canada or India. I want to focus on the finance sector and pursue a job in the role of a Finance Manager or Finance and Investment Analyst. A few years down the line, with enough experience and resources, I look forward to starting a business of my own and becoming an entrepreneur in my field of expertise.

In the past, I have been an active student in school and college. I like to participate in debates, art competitions and even served as a newsreader in the school broadcast channel. In college, I took art classes at [ORGANIZATION] (NGO for young girls) and spoke on mental health at an online platform like [ORGANIZATION]. Being in a group activity is for me the most exciting part of my studies as it offers the opportunity to discover so much about myself and my abilities. Hence, interactive MBA experiences filled with opportunities to collaborate with people and work on real-time projects is something I look forward to with great expectations. Pursuing higher studies in a progressive, international and multicultural environment, with great ambience, infrastructure, and communication with people often is not a reality for many. Studying in such a beautiful country with diversity and excellence is a great opportunity crucial to my transformation into a skilled and truly international professional.
