Education is not only the means to acquire knowledge, but it is a way of living. Education is a teacher that nurtures unpleasant encounters of a person to an event of substance. A knowledge of substance gained is never left unutilized. I wish to become a highly acclaimed researcher in the field of Robotics, Cognition, Intelligence with an aim of bringing about a positive change in not only my country of birth, i.e., India, but to a wider audience in the rest of the world. My desire is to research and build advanced Robotic technologies that would boost and bring about the modern-day revolution in the automation sector. That's why I am expressing my keen interest in pursuing the aforementioned research program at [UNIVERSITY_1] for summer 2022.

I still remember as a young boy when I was first introduced to the automated technology via television, it left me perplexed to an extent, of me wanting to learn more about the technological innovations in the world. Because of this fascination, I took mechanical engineering in a bid to learn, understand and invent new technologies for the ease of doing work. During the last four years of my bachelor's in [COLLEGE_1], I have been grinding myself in a bid to learn different aspects of living as an engineer.

During the senior year, a group of four students including myself were directed to prepare a final year project and chose 'Design and Fabrication of An Electric Café Racer' as our project topic. We came across a staggering data published by the investment bank [COMPANY_1] that by the year 2040 virtually all vehicles sold would be electric. We wanted to produce a product that would be having the same specifications as the electric vehicles in the market, but would be available to purchase for a lower-class section of our society.

During our project work, I was given the task to look at various literature surveys related to our topic of interest and a partner in fabrication. I took out the data from those literature surveys and made a report on how we can build a product of the stature in international market with an increased efficiency, lower build cost. We were able to create an electric motor induced technology that would charge at a faster rate and give a backup which was more than what electric bikes in present market would provide. Our bike would on an average take 5-6 hours to charge fully. The design of the body was made sleek such that it would create less resistance when travelling against the wind and the material used for construction was of lighter weight in order to increase the efficiency. The bike was able to travel at a top speed of 100-110 km/hr with a range of 70-80 km.

Masters in Robotics, Cognition, Intelligence at [UNIVERSITY_1] primarily focuses on various engineering disciplines, such as mechanical and electrical engineering with informatics. It gives a student like myself a great opportunity to evolve my mechanical engineering and informatics skills to navigate a pathway in creating models for generational use. During my bachelors in Mechanical Engineering, I came across various subjects of interest and among them were many subjects which would result in creating a solid foundation for my course of choice in masters. During the course I was able to study subjects like; basic electronics, basic electrical engineering, introduction to programming with C, engineering mathematics, rotor dynamics, automation engineering, machine learning, advanced robotics and industrial robotics. These subjects have enabled me in having a solid grasp on robotics and its functionalities using machine learning.

In contrast, Germany is a country of opportunity for every engineer in this world in order to fulfil their dream of becoming a cultured professional with a significant grip in the respectable field. Germany as a country is far ahead, than its counterparts in the field of automation and technology, which gives a student hand on experience to expertise in various engineering disciplines. The weather and cultural atmosphere is more suitable for students from different parts of world.

After pursuing my masters, I would want to join a renowned research and manufacturing firm in my country of origin or a place where automation is on rise to help and produce robots of highest technological advancements which would create a bridge in minimizing the distant interactions between the humans and the robots. A scheme of functionalities which would help humans in their day-to-day life. All in all, I would want to help in making robots and humans work side by side for a mutually beneficial relationship.

Along with the studies, I was a member of ruby club in my school, which maintained discipline and order among the students. I also took part in many school sports activities and was part of cricket and kho kho team which did a commendable job on school level. During my university days, I was actively taking part in many technical workshops like; android app development etc, in order to polish my skills for future endeavours. I also happen to take upon internship with [COMPANY_2] on the development of air conditioning system for large halls.

Various studies have shown an immense increase in the number of engineering graduates in the last 20 years, which leads us to an agreement that there is every apprehension of significant evolution in the automation sector. I believe encouraging new entity can lay a platform to meet different challenges of the forthcoming world. I have always been a person with intentions to work for the betterment of the human race and would work with dedication and skill to help resolve the issues. I will be committed in performing my work with mannerism and integrity, and do my duties with probity of the prospective work.
