STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

There's a quote that says, "Doing your best today will put you in a best moment tomorrow. So, stop wishing and start doing." These words inspire me to be better every day. Going with the flow of life whilst listening to my heart with perseverance has always been my cup of tea. I am excited to study abroad not just for the degree but to also be a part of a new style of learning with international standards, innovative methods of self-development skills and to tick off my bucket list filled with exhilarating goals.

I am a determined and dynamic person. My ventures in school and college helped me become a successful team player, an articulate leader and a socially adept person with a unique personality. I completed my schooling at [SCHOOL_NAME] with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology as my major subjects. I have attended many cultural activities and competitions that led me to be nominated as the House Captain of the school in the year 2017. I represented as the captain for my school throwball team for two years. I finished three levels of the Cambridge English Assessment with soaring scores.

In 2018, I started my undergraduate course at [UNIVERSITY_NAME] that is affiliated to the prestigious [UNIVERSITY_NAME]. I specialized in Biomedical Engineering. This four-year course was an interesting one with a blend of electronics, electricals and medical biology. I was a part of NGO's and youth organizations like NSS, Youth Red Cross and Rotaract and have attended several club activities. The need to serve the humanity emerged in me while being part of these organizations. My ardour for learning new things helped me be an all-rounder. I developed interest in art and music.

Internships, trainings and learning helped me gain a lot of knowledge on industrial medical systems, hospital related learning, industrial based real time embedded systems, IoT based electronics and other fields of engineering. I attended many seminars, presentations and also learned courses like psychology, personal development and nanotechnology online. I was part of the Digital Nurture program conducted by [COMPANY_NAME] and managed to secure 64th rank in college. I acquired knowledge on modules like Java, Web, RDBMS, C#, Cloud computing and life-skills. I did two projects namely, Emotional stress indicator kit (ESI kit) and Automated early prediction of stroke using fundus imaging. The latter aims at automatically predicting the possibility of stroke using fundus imaging in early stages. The SFChT (Sub-foveal Choroidal Thickness) ratio and AV (Arteriovenous) nicking points are identified cumulatively through the fundus image.

Thinking forward for my future self, I thought why not do a postgraduate degree in business. A Master's degree in Management will help me enhance my understanding of the functional aspects of management and open new endeavors for me. I have always aspired to be an independent and resourceful woman, one who wishes to achieve the goals destined for her and to also keep her people happy. Growing up in a family with business background, rough ideas of marketing and the ups and down of business are known. I want to be an entrepreneur and also pursue the need to add to my analytical mind the thought process of a strategist, the resolution of an engineer and an idea of a manager.

To achieve this, a MSc degree in Management from your esteemed university is the best way forward. The curriculum, the flexibility of the program and the focus groups would effectively enhance my entrepreneurial skills. Working alongside individuals from all across the globe and being mentored by prominent faculty, will ensure a great continuation of my venture rather than a detour. While I aspire to gain a degree from your renowned university, I look forward to requite back in equal measures. Knowing the reputation and exposure of your university, my eagerness to be an asset and to start a new journey at your institution has burgeoned.

I envision myself shifting transition into an articular leader and bringing to the peer groups the maturity of working in multi-cultural teams while I hasten toward my own aspirations and carve out my future to bring smiles. Life is pouring with surplus opportunities around me to learn, explore, build, experiment, renovate and give shape to myself. I am looking forward to look into life from a different perspective with new experiences and hope to leave no stone unturned. This course will help me gain unparalleled skills, particularly with modules like Project Management, Marketing, Strategy, Finance, Economics, Logistics with ethical leadership and to encompass planning, organizing and leading of resources. I look forward to take up large scale projects. I believe this course will guide me to understand the ever-changing reality of business culture and the need to improve my own proficiency and professional aptitude along with technical knowledge.

Besides academics, the opportunity to interact with a global cohort of classmates entices me. It is always exciting to know people and their culture. It will let me forge friendships and build networks that will prove worthy, both professionally and personally. I wish to make full use of this fortuity, as the diverse knowledge that I will gain will help me discover my inner self in terms of my strengths and weaknesses and also understand the needs of the society and make it more equitable by bridging the gap between the haves and have-nots of today.
