A quick step in the right direction is all that is needed to begin an inspiring journey of learning and comprehension. I have always been someone who has one foot firmly planted in the future. My high school years taught me the meaning of "ambition" and ways to incorporate it into my professional endeavors. After my early high school years, I have learned that my passion for greater education was mainly in computer science. We live in a rapidly changing environment where no one has time to waste. Since technologies are easily disseminated and play an important role in our everyday lives, they must be improved.

Merging my aptitude for mathematics with my newfound interest in technology, I went on to earn a bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the prestigious [UNIVERSITY_NAME], [UNIVERSITY_NAME]. In addition to my interests in the theoretical aspects, I was especially attracted to the practical aspects. I worked on a project titled "Adaptive Headlight," wherein this system can be used as an accessory in all running vehicles for proper road illumination according to the driving situation. This ensures a higher degree of active safety in vehicles and assistance to the driver. During my under-graduation, my major interests were in C, C++, Python, and database administration.

After completing my bachelor's in 2017 with a 58% aggregate and a few backlogs, I was a bit disappointed with my academic performance. So, I decided to take a break for one year to learn and look for better opportunities to learn new software technologies. In 2019, I got associated with [COMPANY_NAME] as a Quality Analyst and am currently working in the same company. With [COMPANY_NAME], I have worked on several projects, and one of them I am proud of working on has been for the '[COMPANY_NAME],' which is a GIS-based project that deals with the GPS navigation system using the open-street maps by [COMPANY_NAME]. My core responsibilities behind this project were to verify the data for the maps from the Quality Team with the help of JOSM Software. I was also responsible for the data quality and process effectiveness in support of the data team. I created, translated, and integrated GIS data layers and digitized new data using various software. For this project, I also analyzed spatial data through the use of mapping software. Designing digital maps with geographic data and other data sources and working on bug fixes, new functionality, and defects reported by testers, and fixing them as quickly as possible to ensure that all environment builds are operational was also a core responsibility behind this project.

While working in [COMPANY_NAME], I have completed a full-stack development course in Python and Java certifications in boot-camp courses to hone my professionalism in my IT career further. Working at [COMPANY_NAME] has widely honed my skills and technical understanding. I have mastered the basics of Python and MYSQL, JOSM software, hot-tasking manager, data creation, editing, data verifying, world mapping, etc. I have also earned a [AWARD_NAME] for 2020 and 2021 for understanding and displaying an outstanding level of leadership and mentorship in [COMPANY_NAME].

As I have gained 2+ years of experience working as a Quality Analyst, I plan to fill the void of my lack of knowledge and switch to a computer science background as I am more interested in learning software technologies and working in this field. I feel that pursuing a master's in Software Engineering will result in better growth in my career. I will be able to expand my knowledge of fields related to their current fields of professional specialization. A grad school will provide me with a stable forum to research, and I will explore the theories and ideas better. I am particularly excited to be part of the research opportunities in my chosen grad school and explore contributing to the academic community with my findings.

The reason behind choosing the United States of America as my destination for my master's is that the USA is well-known for its Software and Computer Science courses. The excellent student culture here for technical studies intrigued me on choosing to step in the USA, which also happens to be one of my dream destinations to visit. I have always been eager to live an American life, and through this master's course, I will be able to gain this experience of two years and indulge in an independent living. The student environment in the USA is a special attraction to me, along with the humungous travel and learning opportunities here in the USA.

After considering my favored subject areas like Software Engineering, Architecture and Design, Testing, Cloud Computing, etc., I found [UNIVERSITY_NAME] was the perfect fit for me since it offered a fine blend of courses in my interest.
