STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

My fascination with Pharmaceutics started when I learned about the captivating concepts of healthcare sciences for the first time. Since then, my interest in exploring how Pharmaceutics is entirely devoted to improving health and quality of life has only heightened. The universal aspect of the subject makes me passionate about learning it in more depth. I wish to pursue the Master's program offered by your university and become well versed in the different branches of the subject. The program will allow me to enhance my analytical skills and equip myself with modern techniques in the field.

My academic performance has consistently scored well in school, and I ranked among the top 10 in my 12th. After high school, I decided to devote a year to prepare for The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) which helped me strengthen my existing knowledge in the basics. I completed my B. Pharma course with 8.78 CGPA and was placed among the top 3 students in the university. I studied subjects like Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, and Pharmacognosy in college, with my final year project being under Pharmacognosy. I gathered that every topic under the B. Pharma courses is peculiar despite being interconnected at certain levels. I mainly found Pharmaceutics to be a challenging yet exciting field of study.

Apart from the academic curriculum, my participation in varied subject-relevant courses and internship programs has added to my caliber. The theoretical knowledge gained through a three-month online course in Computer-Aided Drug Designing from [ORGANIZATION] led me to successfully undertake the 'Drug Discovery Hackathon' with [ORGANIZATION], India. It was an excellent opportunity to learn and access specific premium drug discovery software. I also have completed a certificate course in French with distinction.

It amazes me how they both give their best in their respective careers while devoting their time to look after our family. My brother is an IT engineer, making me the first person in my family to venture into the healthcare sector. I am encouraged to be responsible and value friendships and humility. My family has always inspired me to follow my heart and excel in the field of my interest.

My experiences in college and my profession so far have enhanced my team-leading capabilities. I have a flair for independent learning and effective communication. Moreover, I have made meaningful progress in complementing my passion for the subject through notable professional expertise. In conjunction with this, I am constantly involved in reading research papers relevant to Pharmaceutics, connected with alumni to comprehend the scope in the field. I have undertaken a structured reflection process to analyze my career choice. I believe this is the perfect time for me to pursue a Master's course.

After completing the Master's program, I wish to pursue a Doctoral degree and work in the academic field for a few years. It will give me significant exposure to the academic community and, at the same time, will strengthen my theoretical foundations. A Master's degree from your university blends harmoniously with my goal of continuing a research-oriented career. I aspire to work in the domain of drug delivery methods, Nanomedicine.
