STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

The plethora of conundrum that has eased in the 21st century can be credited to the mammoth transmission of information and data across myriad platforms around the globe. The access to information, driven by empowering technologies was the flicker of enthusiasm that kindled my interest in the world of information technology. During the formative years of my undergraduate degree, I stumbled upon an intriguing old case study of 1998, "Design, development and implementation of a global information warehouse: A case study at IBM" and "Technological Innovation and Its Impact on Business Model, Organization and Corporate Culture – IBM's Transformation into a Globally Integrated, Service-Oriented Enterprise", which not only gave an insight into an existing problem but also established a plausible solution with a huge positive impact. Thus I set foot into the journey of expanding my horizons in a subject that I felt passionate about. I would like to pursue a Master's Degree in Information Systems.

To embark on a new beginning and strengthen my core understanding, I decided to study a five-year aggregate MBA Tech academic program from [UNIVERSITY_NAME], [CITY]. This course is a unique amalgamation that allows students to pursue a Bachelor of Technology in a technical discipline with an engineering specialization and an MBA degree specializing in Technology Management. My competencies involve computer networks, statistics and security, database management and risk management. I employed the knowledge of basic C++ to develop an implementation of Minesweeper and a program on student report management. A major part of my learning came from my final year project in which I created a Newscrapper for sentiment analysis using Python. The project was based on prototyping a Market Intelligent System that could detect credit defaults in the bank. After gaining relevant experience in the field, I aspire to become an entrepreneur and start my own company.
