STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

The origins of information systems have always interested me. When conventional management tactics could not keep up with the rapid advances in computer technology, a new discipline of study – Information Systems – arose to fill the void. The topic is efficient and less crowded with speculative notions because of the contemporary and hybrid field. After working in this industry and gaining great insights into its application, I got inspired to pursue a Master's course in order to dive deeper into its intricacies. I would like to study for a degree at your respected university to equip myself better to meet the industry's expanding expectations.

Even when I was a school-going kid, I never showed the slightest growth of being restricted to the academic syllabus, but I constantly strove to develop my personality. I also overcame my stage fear and actively participated in many of the Inter-School competitions that came my way. By this time, I developed a keen interest in Mathematics and Sciences, and thus I opted for the science stream in my intermediate. Following this, owing to my penchant for technical tactics, I pursued a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology.

My passion for IT Engineering is because it connects all the branches of engineering. What fascinates me most about this engineering field is its simplicity, the sheer scale of its applicability, and the pragmatic approach to solving almost any problem encountered. My choice of the practice of engineering reflects my profound appreciation for austereness, which is one of the key qualities of IT Engineering.

During undergrad, I thoroughly enjoyed the subjects like Data Structure and Analysis, Business Intelligence, Advanced-Data Management Technology, and Android App development which built my repertoire of knowledge and improved my programming skills. Moreover, I also involved myself in several academic projects, and the minor project I worked on was "[PROJECT_NAME]" an android application that focuses on finding the hospitals that had the availability of blood in their blood banks and finding the details of the person having a specific blood group and my major project was "[PROJECT_NAME]". The project focused on faster appointment bookings and maintaining a patient's record on just the QR code generated for the patient. This project, indeed, sparked my interest in this field even more.

Marching ahead, during my seventh semester, I was introduced to the Management Information System. The elegance of the subject fascinated me like no other subject. This is where decision-making and systematically analyzed information came into action, and I realized that MIS is quite impactful to be more effective for making a business successful. As businesses concentrate on the alignment of MIS with business goals to achieve a competitive advantage over other businesses. The problems faced by engineers in the modern industry are dynamic, and hence the solution employed must be as flexible as the problems we seek to solve.

As I progressed, my professional experiences taught me about the extent and possibilities of information systems. I saw the importance of information systems in making successful and intelligent market judgments with great interest. Because most organizations are driven by conclusions drawn from enormous amounts of data, I realized that having intelligent and efficient systems is crucial for success. As a part of business work development for [COMPANY_NAME], I coordinated with business and other team members for architectural design. Throughout my professional career at [COMPANY_NAME], I've discovered that there are several options in the area for me. Thus, the exposures I have acquired have shown me a pragmatic view of the field and have been instrumental in driving me towards Information Systems Engineering. The acquired advanced learning has been a fascinating journey through my tenure of professional experience in image processing. This has helped me rise not only as a professional but has also enhanced my curiosity to learn.

After this course, I intend to return to India after the training is over. My short-term objective is to earn an MSc in Information Systems from your excellent university, and my long-term goal is to work as a System Engineer at a company where I can improve processes.
