With the emergence of Data Science, there has been a significant shift that is taking place day by day from a world with the meagre presence of data to a world driven by an abundance of data. This change has been a motivation for me to develop into a data-oriented engineer, one that allows me to take advantage of my innate talent to succeed in such a role.

From my school days, I showed a great enthusiasm in observing the practical application of electronic devices and I wanted to learn how they are implemented in real life. As I grew up, I gained a deeper knowledge in the field of electronics and understood how advantageous integration of computer science into the field of electronics will be. Mathematics has always been my favourite subject and preferred understanding the logics behind solving problems rather than just the formulae-answer approach. There has been no look back ever since I accepted the fact that Mathematics has been a stronger innate quality I am proud to have it in me. Although, I was introduced to the programming world in my schooling, it was only during my freshman year, I was introduced to the basics of C programming for the first time in more logical and meaningful manner. Involving more and more into the programming during the lab sections, I found very close relation between mathematics and coding. Both involved logical brainstorming in solving problems while one deal with choosing appropriate formulae, other require choosing appropriate algorithm to obtain appropriate output. The eagerness in me in digging deeper into the world of coding made me choose the electives like web of things, data structures from the field of computer science which gave me insights into the data structure programming with various concepts of algorithm paradigms and to analyse the complexity of algorithms and eventually got introduced to many more computer languages, predominantly C++ and Python.

Studying a mix of electronics, computing and business fundamentals from one of India's leading educational Institutions, [UNIVERSITY NAME], served as a fertile ground in acquiring such a multidimensional approach early on which helped me attain an internship in a start-up company "[COMPANY NAME]" which helped me sharpen my skills in the spreadsheets, SQL and Python as part of Data Visualisation Internship has been a seed to my desire to pursue a master's degree in Data Analytics. The subsequent campus placement in [COMPANY NAME] helped me understand the deeper challenges one can face while performing the complex coding. With the immense training the company also added confidence in me to put one step forward to achieve my dream of pursuing a Masters degree in Data Analytics.

I find the master's degree a bridge between my dreams and the reality through leveraging the knowledge gained and help me transfigure the same into developing real-world solutions. In short-term I seek to work as a data-oriented engineer focusing on analytics in companies such as [COMPANY NAME], [COMPANY NAME], [COMPANY NAME] for which the university's modules will be key to succeed. Such experience will help me achieve my long-term goal of becoming expert in technology consulting. I want to use the expertise to implement the analytics in lesser touched fields like the agriculture fields where I believe there is a higher demand of data analytics in managing the product research data for plant, soil and animal health which enables precision agriculture performance by providing insights for livestock for wellness monitoring and integrate transparency through the food supply chain. Furthermore, I want to take this mode of analytics which is majorly been used by the MNC's to be operational at the small and medium enterprises, help them access and use the technology in cost-effective manner, which I believe would lead to immense potential in bringing out the fruitfulness of the world we living in. This reminds me the famous quote by William Gibson "The future is already here – it's just not evenly distributed."
