I commenced on the path of basic self-learning programs, analyzing websites, attending seminars, workshops, and reading books on the applications of Computer Science. My academic curriculum engaged and promoted critical thinking, problem-solving and technical skills through Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, and Big Data Analytics.

As I progressed, I got hands-on experience to initiate and handle projects such as Stock Price Prediction and Mal-Advertisement Detection, an Auto Text Completer, which predicts the words or phrases of the input text. Within this engaging curriculum, my predilection was reserved for Data Science; and the fact that through predictions, one can make vital decisions to prevent a potential problem or plan contingencies. Moreover, I got an opportunity to work on projects where I could practically experience how data analytics works; the first was about analyzing consumer buying behavior on [COMPANY]. The second one was about interpreting COVID-19 data. These projects piqued my interest further in Data science. Marching ahead with the zeal to acquire professional exposure, I took up an internship with '[ORGANIZATION]' where I got tremendous exposure to data analysis, visualization, and tools such as Tableau and Microsoft BI.

The turning point of my life was a technology fest I attended at [UNIVERSITY] while I was in college. The fest revealed the limitless possibilities of automation in our lives. It gave me insights into the latest emerging trends and research being conducted in the mysterious world of Data Science; this immediately captured my interest. For me, the fascinating aspect was how a machine or a robot could perform tasks that humans do simply by clicking a button. I have realized that data is almost omnipotent and is virtually making a mark for itself in multiple spheres, including business, communication, and health.

After the BE, eager to enhance my keenness in computing, I happily accepted the on-campus offer by [COMPANY] to work as a Software Developer. Owing to my proclivity for programming, I was selected for a renowned pharmaceutical US-based company named [COMPANY] as a Web Developer. In this tenure, I was accountable for deploying and maintaining portals for healthcare professionals across the globe. During this period, I learned to work with PHP, Drupal, CSS, SQL, Edison Platform, Gherkin Automation, and much more.

I began to develop a penchant for Data Science and Machine learning towards the culmination of my coursework. The knowledge and skills I gained so far propelled me to continue working on my dream project, "A Custom Photo-Realistic Face Generation System using Deep Learning," and I was chuffed up to have received copyrights from the Government of India for the same. Under the aegis of this project, I worked with my team to demonstrate how we could use the network automation to generate a face that would potentially resemble an almost accurate photo-realistic image of the suspect as described by a witness. To make my project practically workable and precise, I need to get more adept in Deep learning and GANs. To make that mission come true, I indeed require a Master's degree to gain a more strong and more intellectual foundation for my further passion. Thus, setting out to make real contributions and to discover more concepts of Data Science, I perceived the requirement and started my hunt for the ideal university.

I am a firm propagator of work-life balance, and my extra-curricular activities have honed vital life skills such as interpersonal and leadership skills. I have served as the General Secretary of Sports Committee and the Cricket Team Captain and won numerous medals for my college. I am a gold medallist in Swimming at the intercollegiate level, and I was selected for national competitions too. Apart from the above, I have won several medals in Lawn Tennis and Kho-Kho as well. I have been an ardent participant in social and cultural events, debates, Smart India Hackathons, etc. I am an avid technical blog writer. Additionally, I have also worked as a technical content writer for a company named [COMPANY]. Volunteering for tree planting and teaching at an orphanage gave me inexplicable gratification. It is a culmination of these myriad experiences and my deep-rooted desire to study further that forms the genesis of my belief that I shall be a good fit for the MS in Computer Sciences from your esteemed university.
