With the advent of different technologies, the world is seeing the ascent of a disruptive discipline the likes of which we have never seen before. From cancer detection to self-driving cars, we are now on the verge of building technology that was previously thought to be science fiction. As someone with a long-standing interest in exploring nascent technologies, I cannot help but be excited at the advancements in computer science. I first got exposed to computers in my high school and since then it was intriguing that kept on developing as I took more computer science engineering courses. In doing all this, I have developed a desire to contribute to the advancements in computer science by doing impactful research. As the next step towards realizing this goal, I would like to pursue a master's program in computer science in [UNIVERSITY_NAME].

I initiated my journey by enrolling for a Bachelor's of Engineering in Electronics and Communications as my major. Here, being introduced to subjects like Communications and Signal Processing, VLSI and Embedded Systems, Data Science, Robotics and Automation, Analog and Digital Communications, Fibre Optic and Satellite Communications System made me ecstatic. I mastered a multitude of technical skills, published a couple of research papers and a journal on Robotics. Wishing to implement my theoretical knowledge, I took up my first project—Multi-Mode Control of a Search and Rescue Robot with Perception Techniques for Environmental Sensing. The objective was to provide aid to victims of natural disasters by providing the following information to rescuers: the location of victims, environmental factors such as humidity, temperature, rainfall, etc. We developed a system using a router to satisfy our requirements and enable a reliable communication system. The system featured Human-Robot interaction, Navigation and Mapping in dynamic environments, Object Manipulation, Adaptive Behaviour, Sensor Programming, and Ambient Intelligence.

From the very beginning of my undergraduate education, I sought out resources outside of the ones available to me at the university to satisfy my curiosity. This habit has allowed me to extract the most out of my time at college. As alluded to earlier, I have continued to make use of online courses and tutorials available on Data Structures to enhance my understanding of different techniques and algorithms. My explorations, however, have not been limited to just topics in Data Structures. I have also completed training programs in android application development using Kotlin and developed a basic Book reading application. The knowledge that these helped imbibe is sure to help me as I go on to explore more advanced areas while pursuing higher education.

Combining my proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python with my passion for the upliftment and welfare of society, I decided to pursue my Master's in computer science. I come from a long line of social activists that believe in selfless service. I wish to apply my knowledge and intellect to acquire a job in a reputable corporation that delivers technology services and helps people. I wish to enhance my skills and employ them to develop a safe and happy community. Like many others, I plan on executing an entrepreneurial activity after acquiring substantial corporate experience. I wish to initiate an ed-tech company that will provide students the opportunity to gain real-world experience in whichever profession they choose to pursue. I persevere to add value to people's lives while leading a simple, peaceful life.

As I am now coming to the end of my undergraduate education, it is obvious to me what my next step should be. I have decided to deepen my understanding of systems architecture as well as hardware limitations to current development platforms to start my career in the computer science field. This requires a certain knowledge that is best achieved through pursuing higher education. So, this is what I intend to do next. Beyond that, I would like to first work for a few years as a software developer at companies that are doing inspiring and innovative work in booming technologies and then go on to pursue a doctorate in computer science. In the long run, I see myself growing into a senior programmer who can provide new and innovative solutions for tackling the innate challenges that arise from business processes.
