Personal Statement

It is said that Computer Science is the operating system for all innovation by [NAME], and I believe in that statement because of the experiences I've had in my life. In my early age, I was amazed by the technology and utilities that a computer offered. This primer invigoration made me explore the horizon of computers, from then I am ambitious with an intense desire to enhance my computer knowledge. Then I realized in the near future, computers would become an integral part of modern life and a solution for many tasks. These things provoked me to take up Computer Science as my undergraduate major and continue my education throughout a competitive and influential future.

Interestingly, opting to work at [COMPANY] turned out to be one of the most important decisions of my life. I was a part of development team where the client was [COMPANY]. My role there included enhancement of the code as required by customer, maintenance of application, and root cause analysis of the bugs and crashes in the application. The technologies I used are C programming and Linux. Moreover, apart from the technical expertise, I was able to acquire the basics of corporate etiquettes and ethics which are most needed.

During my course of learning as a student in school, at every step I took serious interest and cautiously performed and executed all the tasks which were endowed to me. That work culture which I groomed paved a pathway and it became a road map for my sojourn. I secured 9.7 CGPA in my 10th class board examination. I used to have a keen interest in mathematics and science which made me opt for Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as majors in my 10+2 level and developed great strength in these subjects. The didactic approach of faculty was impressive and the consistent anchoring over a period of two years radiated my personality to take up a challenging career. That opened the gates of engineering with a panoramic view with an immense performance of 95.1% in my intermediate college, which catered me an admission in [UNIVERSITY] in the stream of Computer Science and Engineering, one of the prestigious educational institutes in my state.

I opted for a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering. The first two years of undergraduate education was based on fundamentals of all engineering subjects. Computer Networks, Information Security, Software Engineering, Object Oriented Analysis and Design, Software Testing Methodologies along with programming languages like C, Python, Java and Linux were taught. The courses like C, Data Structures and Database Management Systems opened up my ability in programming.

Moreover, subjects like Python Programming, Machine Learning and Data Warehousing and Data Mining interested me the most. I was awestruck by the inexhaustible applications of Machine Learning in all aspects of study, in which its faster and most real world applications revolutionized the world in a decade. I did my minor project on "Competitive Bike: Popularity Prediction of Bike Sharing Systems Using Multi-Source Data," a method of predicting the popularity of bike sharing app. The domain of the project was machine learning. At present, I am working on the major project on "Identification and Classification of Special Attention Students Using Deep Learning."

In addition to academics, personality development is also required for an individual's professional but also personal lives. This has been a prime motto of mine which delved me in engaging in various extra-curricular activities right from my childhood. I took part in many technical events, cultural events and sport activities held in our college.
