"Never Stop Learning" is a principle I have pursued since I was a child. I was always the inquisitive one, exploring the things around me and understanding the mechanisms and science behind how things work. I have nurtured this same attitude to this day. This curiosity ignited my passion for technology. I believe that the purpose of human existence is to make the world a better place for future generations, which I believe can be achieved through technological advancements. Through this Master's program, I hope to acquire new skills and gain comprehensive knowledge in Computer Science, which will be highly beneficial in my future career with a reputed global company. My long-term goal is to become an entrepreneur in the field of Computer Science and seek to solve the burning issues that directly impact society and human life.

An ingrained love for solving problems that challenge analytical and logical thinking right from my childhood has motivated me to pursue engineering. This ceaseless drive made me top the secondary education with a commendable performance in the highly competitive Joint Entrance Examination in 2018. It presented me with an opportunity to pursue undergraduate studies in the Department of Electronics and Electrical Communication Engineering (E&ECE) at the [UNIVERSITY], [CITY], one of the best engineering institutions in India. [UNIVERSITY]'s comprehensive curriculum provided me with the flexibility to go through a plethora of courses and the chance to learn and collaborate with some of the greatest minds in the country. During my sophomore year, I engaged myself in various workshops on Robotics, Machine Learning, IoT. With my contribution to these diverse fields, I have gained a variety of experiences and perspectives. But of all, Machine Learning ignited my enthusiasm to explore more and delve deep into the area. This drove me to take up my BTech Project under [PROFESSOR NAME] in the domain of IoT and Machine Learning.

For my BTech project, I worked on IoT for Air Quality Monitoring. I developed an IoT-based system that senses and collects various aspects of air, with an aim to help us determine air quality. I had to do literature review to understand the shortcomings of the existing research and come up with my ideas to solve them. I developed the circuit board design from scratch and did not use a development kit because it occupies more area and has unnecessary components which leads to higher cost and space wastage. To complete this objective, I have used chemi-resistive sensors integrated with a microcontroller connected to the WiFi module for data transmission. I have also integrated machine learning algorithms on the data collected to predict the future quality of air. This can help us control the air quality and take preventive measures before it goes out of hand. This was indeed an eye-opening experience for me to apply machine learning principles to solve real-world problems. Besides, this was also my first step towards research, through which I got insights into how research papers are written and published. I successfully completed my research project and defended my results and conclusions in front of reviewing panel. Developing my own design or approach for a challenging problem and presenting it to the professors helped me gain enough confidence to develop any new feature that might come up.

In my sophomore year, I was introduced to Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence through various workshops and online courses from [UNIVERSITY]. This initial exploration motivated me to do an internship in the field of ML at the company [COMPANY]. Later this experience helped me get selected as a summer intern at [UNIVERSITY] under [PROFESSOR NAME]. During the Covid outbreak, prediction and analysis of the number of covid cases were necessary to tackle the pandemic. As a part of this internship, I have developed Machine Learning models for Time series forecasting of Covid cases. We have also used several Machine learning models like SIR and LSTM and created a few integrated models. [UNIVERSITY] being a reputed institute in India, the predictions of the model we implemented as part of this internship got used by several media bodies to spread awareness about the pandemic's seriousness. I was extra careful while developing the model and fine-tuned the model to my best of abilities because the results would have a clear impact on public's perception of Covid. This made me realize the importance of research in solving the real-world problems and motivated me to pursue higher studies. Through this experience, I have learned to work on multiple aspects of a project in a dynamic and collaborative team environment.

I have always been fascinated to explore machine learning applications in the Healthcare domain. My Internship at [COMPANY] provided me with the opportunity to work on real-life Healthcare applications of machine learning. I have worked on developing smart digital stethoscope - [PRODUCT NAME] - to provide reliable remote e-health monitoring with a minimum delay while enhancing overall network performance. In this internship, I analyzed the data of Human heartbeats collected through a stethoscope and developed a Machine Learning regression model that predicts the number of heartbeats and the threshold cutoff frequency to capture the peaks of heartbeats. This experience pushed me to gain knowledge in emerging domains with the ultimate purpose to serve humanity in every way possible especially in healthcare domain.

Parallelly in the field of my majors (E&ECE), I have worked on speaker recognition project under [PROFESSOR NAME], where I integrated machine learning into Signal Processing. This project aims to execute the task of speaker recognition on data collected from online video lectures such as [PLATFORM]. As a part of this project, I have used traditional MFCC methods and advanced neural networks methods integrated with bi-modal ques developed on audio and visual modalities. Given the success rate of neural networks, I was able to produce efficient results in accurately detecting the speakers compared to traditional MFCC methods. This motivated me to dive deep into the domain of deep learning. Hence, I took the "Artificial intelligence Foundations and applications" course in my 7th semester and opted for micro specialization in "Artificial Intelligence and Applications" as part of my curriculum.

I have always balanced academics and extracurriculars equally throughout my undergraduate journey. Being a member of the Dramatics Society has taught me a lot about discipline and dedication that contributed to my academic endeavors. I took up several positions of responsibility throughout my undergraduate. My drive to serve the student community in their mental health motivated me to contest for the post. My evident organizational skills and creative ideas were the reasons why I got elected as the secretary for Students' Welfare for community building. During my term, I took the initiative to decrease the communication gap by improving everyone's communication skills evaluated based on the test ELAT. I have organized English classes for people/groups with low scores to reduce the communication gap. I executed the planning and implementation of multiple student welfare initiatives.

In my third year of stay at [UNIVERSITY], I was elected as the General Secretary for Students' Welfare at [RESIDENCE HALL]. During the Covid outbreak, I arranged regular counselling sessions in collaboration with the Counselling centre in the online mode to ensure the mental stability of residents. Parallelly, considering my academic endeavors and inspiring communication skills, I was selected as a student mentor under the Students' Welfare Group (SWG). I got the opportunity to mentor and guide five freshmen students in acclimatizing to the Environment of the Institute and helped them with their academics. In my final year, based on my track record, I was elected unanimously as the Second Senate member by 450 boarders who believed that I could be the best fit for the position. I represent the hall in the student senate, which is the highest order student decision-making body. All these positions of responsibility throughout my undergraduate studies stand as a testament to my leadership and mentoring skills. In addition, they will guarantee that I get along with people in group projects and take on a teaching assistant position at your university.

While I have acquired all the necessary skills and expertise in computer sciences through my academic and work endeavors, there is still a lot to explore and learn.
