I was happy and extremely comfortable in the field. As it went on, and I was introduced to data science and its allied concepts, I was amazed at the diversity in which this domain functioned. I was soon hooked on to Database Management Systems and the lab work offered great insights into processing data and understanding its significance.

A few projects also helped me in enhancing my skills and applying all my knowledge to developing practical solutions. I developed a simple hospital management system that let remote and virtually inaccessible places of the country maintain patient information, so there could be relief measures undertaken by the government as and when required. I built a simple website using Python and Django for this. Another project I worked on involved Machine Learning and fundamental concepts of Data Science. I built software to help in the detection of Diabetic Retinopathy that leads to blindness using neural networks on retina images of a cluster of affected and non-affected people. This project involved using Python and was my foray into trying to enter the medical infrastructure through technology.

To ensure my theoretical knowledge still progressed, I attended several seminars and undertook training programs in Python and DBMS. This cemented my abilities in programming, and I looked forward to implementing them in new and novel ways. After graduating, I took up employment at [COMPANY_NAME] as a Software Engineer. It was an absolute game-changer for me, for I was absorbed into the sphere of data. I was put to work under the domain of BI Development, where I had to create visual dashboards for BI reporting. The organization was an absolute gem in letting me grow professionally and intellectually. In that way, I am very grateful that it was my professional venture that gave me a better idea of how I wanted my future to look like. I am very optimistic about the future of tech and look forward to being a part of this revolution.

With this in mind, I believe the time is now ideal for me to pursue a Master's in Computer Science – Big Data at [UNIVERSITY_NAME]. Besides being the topic of my interest, I believe data is the field in which dynamic changes are bound to take place, regardless of the circumstances. With every new problem, every new challenge being thrown into the mix, it is applying the information obtained from data that is the only way into finding solutions. Working in Business Intelligence showed me the importance of data in that particular sector. Similarly, with every other sector out there in dire need of efficient improvement that improves the overall quality of life, the fundamental crux is data. I wish to be at the forefront of this revolutionary phenomenon and bring out advancements to the best of my capabilities.

Getting this Master's degree is one thing, but at the moment, I am looking forward to gaining as much input and knowledge as I can through this course. I want to enjoy and revel in every activity and lesson that contributes to expanding my intellectual thought and ideas. I am certainly inclined towards research and hope to have several practical projects wherein I can showcase my talents and learn more. With this Master's degree in hand, I can see myself working as a Data Scientist / AI Engineer in an emerging organization, trying to make technology better and more useful. With more knowledge and satisfactory experiences, I wish to take on complex problems dominating the healthcare sector and work towards bringing out a positive change and advancement in our medical infrastructure. I believe any work is complete and real only when it benefits society at large, and I hope to take on such responsibilities in the future.

I believe this program gives me the impetus and performs as the steppingstone I need in making my future dreams come true, as it hits all the right notes in a way that suits me.
