STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
I strongly believe in the quote "Aim High." I am [NAME] and I have developed a keen eye for emerging technologies around me. I am passionate about exploring new kinds of computer technologies and information systems. The mantras for me are positivity and persistence in my professional as well as personal endeavours. I got inspired by the possibility of diagnosing human disease using computer technologies and also the software is the one-stop solution for most problems. This thought made me happy and it was an intrigue that kept on developing as I took more computer science courses. I aim to pursue a STEM-designated MASc in Computer Engineering program at [UNIVERSITY], which will hugely impact my portfolio of knowledge and expertise. I hope to acquire a new set of skills and thrive on my knowledge through the program, which will be highly advantageous in my future career. Through this present Master's program in Computer Engineering, I will have the option to get what it takes that I would seek after my aspiring profession in the innovation field.
My innate interest in computer programming began as a teenager when I found myself fascinated by the world of computers and sooner engrossed myself in the science of programming. I took an information technology course at [UNIVERSITY] affiliated [INSTITUTE], a top tier institute that is NBA certified and NAAC accredited in India, and completed with 78.9% in my undergraduate as I dreamed to become a programmer to develop new products and protocols that solves our problems and contribute to this field. I took an active part in various national-level symposiums to ensure my product ideas are flawless in which I won accolades for inventive software projects and I will share the knowledge of problem-solving techniques using computer technologies.
I love to list out the problem statements that we face in our day to day life and try to solve them by project ideas or by developing solutions. Some of my projects include Prediction of the Best Book through Machine Learning and Django, in which I have used Random Forest Tree Algorithm, and Detection of Cancer, in which I am using Support Vector Machine (SVM) Algorithm. My dream project is to develop a Big Health Application System based on health Machine Learning which helps to diagnose human disease and solves the misdiagnoses of diseases. I had presented this paper in a National Level competition and won First Prize and the Best Paper Award.
My team was also selected in National Level Smart India Hackathon conducted by the Indian Government for developing Women Welfare Android Application that avails all the government schemes and policies for women in this application. We came out as TOP 5th candidate. I provided a solution for farmers to sell their products directly to end customers without middlemen to increase the profit of the farmers and to reduce the price for people for the CII hackathon conducted by the Indian government, by developing a prototype where the farmers directly login to their account and can post their available goods and the consumers can purchase directly from the farmers so that those products are delivered to the customer. In order to maintain this process there will be a government office to manage this, and I got an excellence award.
My eagerness to provide solutions extended to hardware, that is Miniature of Graphene Solar Panel and Mini Windmill Power Bank. I presented this ideology in National level technical Symposium [EVENT_NAME] and won First Place. I have presented the Automation in Android Apps, Gradle Scripts, APK Generation, iOS IPA Generation, Uploading IPA in App Store Connect Using Python paper, and this paper is successfully selected and published in an international journal Advances in Computational Science and Engineering (ICACSE 2020).
During my course of undergraduate study, I was exposed to various courses with applications such as Computer Programming, Programming and Data Structures (1 to 2), Database Management System, Computer Architecture, Operating System, Computer Networks, Web Programming, Graphics and Multimedia, Object-Oriented Analysis and Design, Distributed System, Mobile Computing, Artificial Intelligence, Software Architecture, Compiler Design, Data Mining and Data Warehousing, Mobile Computing, Computer Networks, Design and Analysis of Algorithm, and Database Management System.
I constantly tried to get an internship from my second year. At last, in my third year I successfully got an internship as a software developer at [COMPANY] for 1 month where I have done back-end and front-end development for an internal chrome extension using NodeJS, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. After this my college placements started and I was completely focused to get a software developer job to step into my innovative world. In placements, I got placed in [COMPANY] and got an offer letter from [COMPANY]. To satisfy my thirst for learning new technologies and software development, I attended an interview to get an internship. I got an internship offer from [COMPANY] based on my excellence in my previous internship. I worked as a Robotic Process Automation Engineer for 6 months and completed my project successfully. I have learned most of the work ethics and technologies.
Based on my performance, [COMPANY] offered me a full-time job as a Software Developer and Automation Engineer. I was able to attain much experience adapting to new languages as well as different systems. By ensuring that applications work across multiple platforms, they first must be tested in a variety of different operating systems, each of which can be simulated on a central machine. This experience has shown me that each advance in technology will open the door to additional advancements, and I hope to continue contributing to the field through the knowledge that I will gain from this Master's program.
In order to take my career in the computer science field to the next level, I will need to deepen my understanding of systems architecture as well as hardware limitations to current development platforms. I look forward to learning these advanced topics in software development through the coursework, and to continue honing my programming skills through the applied projects that will be assigned over the course of the program. Being able to continue deepening my education through this Master's Program in Computer Science will improve my marketability as well as my skills necessary to become a software developer in the future.
I am sure that my passion, knowledge, and capabilities will grow leaps and bounds as a student at [UNIVERSITY] and will take me closer to my goal of establishing my promising professional prowess in the technological sphere.
