Statement of Purpose

With a thoughtful nature, I have concluded with success on one belief in the aspects of life that "If you can dream it, you can do it". As far as I remember, I have been independent which has led me to seek and explore a lot of new experiences, through which I was able to either succeed or learn from it, and also helped me to pursue my life goals.

Having witnessed the tremendous adoption of technology while growing up, I was always interested to know more. As data plays an important role in the current century, every new technology and research gives us hope to shape our future in the most powerful manner. In college, I was surprised to know how Big Data, Data Science and Analytics are related to the effective functioning of business processes in every field around the world.

With passion and interest in technology, I completed my Bachelor's in Computer Applications (BCA) at the undergraduate level in 2018 from [UNIVERSITY_NAME], [CITY], India. During my study I've developed a special interest in Programming languages, Database Management Systems and Operating Systems. I enjoyed studying subjects like Data Structures and Algorithms, Data Communication and Networks and Data Mining. The program's curriculum was planned and challenging enough to bring out the best in me at college. Being an active listener and quick learner, the university provided me an opportunity to learn more and experience a number of memorable times.

On account of my interest in computing technology, I was able to find a job as soon as I completed my undergraduate course. I started working as a Programmer Trainee in [COMPANY_NAME], in the field of Mainframe, monitoring and managing the production jobs by providing daily status for a year. Later I was attracted to Python programming, being dynamically-typed and supporting multiple programming paradigms, including object-oriented and functional programming. I took up a course on Python programming and started developing my skills on it by working on different logical problems, to get much more familiar with the skills and applications of programming and computing.

Acquiring knowledge on Python Programming, I soon became a Python developer and quickly started working on real time applications, where I was in charge of collecting and maintaining the data from clients and also performed the required programming actions and analysis as per the need of the organisation and clients. By gaining more practical understanding and in-depth knowledge of the application and software, I developed my skills and was given more responsibilities. Later I figured out my interest lies more on the data side and started to explore more on the Big Data technologies and did various amounts of online courses related to Big Data and its technologies.

We live in the age of the internet, which has become an important part of our life that we can't live without it. Internet, being an invention of high end science and modern technology, we are connected to it 24x7. Every second millions and billions of people remain and rely on the internet, which has become a basic need of life, having its own strengths and weakness on the life of people. Increase in usage of internet over the years, made this world witness a fundamental change on the day to day life. Realizing all the positive aspects of computing, I decided to pursue my career in this field.

I haven't got a chance to do my masters immediately right after my under graduation, which gives me an immense joy now to look around the world, meet new people, discover more things and to be more innovative on my work and thus I've decided to pursue my post graduation now to enrich myself. I have chosen a Master's degree in Big Data and Data Science Technology program to acquire deep knowledge of all the areas and parts of technology that encloses of Big Data and Data Science. It is a great opportunity for me to study at your university, knowing one of the most reputed among the world university, being an important career path in my life. I believe that this knowledge will provide me with a comprehensive learning opportunity and skills that are required for a successful profession in Big Data and Data Science.

I truly believe that acquiring a Master's in Big Data and Data Science Technology would be a right step for my professional career.
