From a young age, the computer for me was only a means of entertainment as I found it exciting to play games and generate various mathematical series and patterns through BASIC programming. I was dumbfounded to know that games are nothing but programs. Curious to know how to program I developed a serious interest in Computers. A keen interest in mathematics along with a strong liking for computers, and particularly programming, prompted me to choose engineering with Computer Science as my major subject. I finished my undergraduate studies in Computer Science and Engineering at [UNIVERSITY_1], under [UNIVERSITY_2], Andhra Pradesh in 2012. After a robust graduate education experience, an MBA degree and a flourishing career as an AWS solution architect and DevOps Engineer, I am now looking forward to developing my technical acumen in Computer Science and participating in cutting edge research and studies. To this end, I have applied to study the Masters in Cyber Security program at [UNIVERSITY_3].

My formal education took place in reputed schools like [HIGH_SCHOOL_1] and [HIGH_SCHOOL_2] in [CITY], India. Apart from academics, I was also trained in sports, cultural art forms and scientific exploration through techno fests, science expo and other co-curricular activities. I went on to score 81% marks in senior secondary and 78.1% marks in intermediate exams. Due to my various extracurricular participations as a student, I received several awards like 2nd place in State Level Child Art Exhibition, 1st place in National Level Drama Competition and 3rd place in National Level Cricket Competition. Additionally, I was elected as the best student in my school for the 2005-2006 academic calendar. In parallel to completing my intermediate studies, I also strived to crack the IIT/AIEEE entrance examinations for engineering studies. My hard work, commitment and dedication bore fruit and I was offered a seat to study the B Tech CSE program at [UNIVERSITY_2].

Early in my undergraduate study, I was introduced to basic programming languages of C, C++ and Java. I understood the key features of each language and realized that one was an improvement of the other. Java is the most powerful and robust language of all and fascinated me the most. My first computer science project was "Hospitalization", which performs the operations of creating a number of Patients, Doctors, Nurses and their IDs, number of wards etc. This program was initially written in C++ following the concepts of object-oriented programming. Later I modified the same program with some improvements like adding a GUI interface using Java. During the second year of my undergraduate studies, I had an opportunity to visit an IT company with my batch. It was here that I actually saw hundreds of computers connected to each other and performing several different operations. I had many questions on my mind – "How are computers connected and if connected, how can they be managed?" Curious to know the answers and following the advice of the professor, I read some books on Windows Networking. I was fascinated by the concepts of Domain, Active Directory, Group Policy and DNS.

In the third year, I was introduced to the subject of Computer Networks. Already having sound knowledge in practical computer networking, I was at ease with this subject. During this course, I learnt the software side of networking i.e. how to implement and develop different servers. The sessions in the labs were devoted to developing programs like the implementation of connection-oriented and connectionless Echo Servers, concurrent multithreaded File Transfer Server and Chat Server. I attended a workshop on FX Mobile@campus which was conducted by [COMPANY_1] and undertook a Mini project where I designed and developed a Voice-Based Career Guidance System on Voice XML Domain which can overcome some of the disadvantages of the web-based applications, meant for students in rural areas who do not have access to proper career guidance.

In the fourth year, Autonomous Robotics and especially Voice-based applications became of great interest to me. I attended a [COMPANY_2] Workshop (conducted by [COMPANY_2]) and a Mobile Autonomous Robotics Workshop (conducted by [ORGANIZATION_1]). These seminars and exposure inspired me to work on my major project theme "SMART PLANE CLIMATIC ANALYSIS ROBOT". For this, I developed a flying Robot with a Geographic study with multiple controls for Voice command, controlling, video recording, mobile controlling, security (by Biometrics) and SMS Alert System which can overcome some of the disadvantages of the existing system. There were many obstacles while progressing my project, like the multiple times when the prototype model crashed at landing. Seeing this, college Director [PROFESSOR_NAME] helped me financially and guided me to rebuild the prototype aircraft. At last, I overcame all the problems (software, hardware and aerodynamics side) and the project was successful. My Major Project was inaugurated and published in many News Papers and News Channels in September 2012 on behalf of [PERSON_NAME] birthday. My work on Mini and Main Projects gave me solid practical knowledge of many technologies and concepts such as Java, Oracle, XML, Object-Oriented Design and Programming.

During my bachelor's studies, I was elected as a Student In-charge, Student Organizer and Class Representative for the Computer Science Department for 4 years. I secured 7 prizes at various events such as technical projects, Technical Paper and Poster presentations, Logo Design and Technical Quiz which were conducted by [INSTITUTION_1]. I secured 3rd place in Open Event Robotics (Technozion'11 conducted by [INSTITUTION_2]), 2nd Position in Minute Made Competition (conducted at Spring Spree'12 by [INSTITUTION_2]) and 1st Position in Technical Poster Presentation (conducted at [INSTITUTION_3]). Moreover, I was selected as Ambassador from the college for the Spring Spree'12 conducted by [INSTITUTION_2] and was one among the 6 students selected to attend the [COMPANY_2] Windows workshop at [UNIVERSITY_2]. I have also presented many Technical Paper and Poster presentations, Project presentations at various colleges across Andhra Pradesh.

Post completion of the course, I was placed in [COMPANY_3] as an HTML Developer where I worked for 6 months and later got a chance to join [COMPANY_4] as a Software Engineer in the Development field. Here, I furthered my interest in programming and sharpened my skills on multiple real-time projects. After that, I pursued an MBA at [COLLEGE_1] in 2015 which helped me improve my career prospects substantially. Thus, I landed a job at [COMPANY_5] and worked as a Software Consultant. Next, I joined [COMPANY_6] in August 2016, as a Senior Software Consultant and worked On-site in Oman, Dubai and India till February 2019. Currently, I am working as a Senior Software Engineer in [COMPANY_7], [LOCATION], Hyderabad. I recently received the reward and recognition for my work where I excelled in my duties and fixed the emergency issues within minutes and helped the customers by creating a productive work environment. As an AWS solution architect, I have gained expertise as a full stack developer capable of working on front-end, Java, backend and infrastructure design.

My predominant research interests have evolved into three categories that I believe are interconnected. The three areas of interest are Computer Networks, Distributed Systems and Information Security. I would be very eager to work in any of these areas or interrelated areas like Networking or Distributed Systems along with Information Security. I worked as a teaching assistant for juniors in C, C++, Software Testing Methodologies and Oracle programming. The teaching experience has helped me to communicate articulately and interact effectively with the diversity of peers. I look forward to a career in research where I can use not only my academic background to achieve my research goals but also make original contributions to my field of interest. Doing a master's in CS for particular courses such as ML, CSE, AI and DevOps and Cyber Security gives more value to my career and helps me to strengthen my career growth and enhance my career. In the longer run, this program will help me understand leadership, project and business management issues as well, ultimately helping me realize my dream of leading a multinational tech firm as its CEO.

I believe that my serious intention for study, my projects, my certifications, and my strong academic background in various areas of Computer Science will be beneficial for my graduate studies and research. Attending your prestigious institution would allow me to receive high-level education under the guidance of prominent professors and excellent teachers. I would regard my admission to your University not only as a great honour but also as a great responsibility and challenge to prove myself.

Thank you for your time and consideration.
