STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

My curiosity towards Medical Biotechnology started to develop when I found an irresistible inclination towards technical subjects. I started researching and got to know about the biotechnology program that could help me pursue higher studies in biology as well as technology which best suits my interests. I had been an active member of the college club which helped me enhance my technical skills and my team management skills. I've also worked in a laboratory and analysed biological research. Post final year, I went to an institution to get basic knowledge on Clinical Studies but biotechnology is my first preference. I think when you are sliding across disciplines of study, you need to have more practical knowledge rather than theoretical knowledge. In order to pursue a Masters degree from a prestigious University and to gain more practical knowledge, I thought pursuing further studies abroad will be a better option. Apart from these factors, if I study in Canada, I will get a chance to experience a new culture and meet new people. Also, I will have a lot of stories that I can share with others when I return, and a lot of memories to cherish throughout my life.

Program Highlights:

I have learned from the department brochure and many other sources about the Masters Programme in Medical Biotechnology. This program will assist me to enhance my skills to a new level and paves a pathway in grasping the end-to-end development steps of a project. This program will provide a theoretical understanding, in depth knowledge of practical approaches in aiding resolving conflicts. The program structure consists of programs bring together science and technology involving the research and development of various living organisms and enhance our understanding or core knowledge and develop the ability to identify and manage important issues.

After graduating from an esteemed college ([UNIVERSITY_NAME]), I foresee a very bright future for myself back in India. I am confident that pursuing a Master degree in International Medical biotechnology program from a prestigious institution like [UNIVERSITY_NAME] will infuse me with all the required skills. Five years from now, I am planning to be an entrepreneur in the biotechnology field with complete knowledge of all the domains that constitute a successful project. Ten years from now, I am planning to set up my own practice, which defines the overall structure for a system. I have a loving family and a lot of relatives back here in India. After completion of my Post Graduation, I will have no purpose to stay back there. I want to support my parents in their old age. After my return to India, I am expecting a yearly package of around 15-20 lakhs as a master graduate from [UNIVERSITY_NAME]. This hike in my earning capacity will help me a lot to aid my family. We have immovable assets worth INR 1 Crore and INR 50 lakhs of movable assets that I have to manage after returning. My family will support me financially during my stay in Canada. My father-in-law, who is a retired Assistant Accounts Officer at Income Tax Department, also has savings of around Rs. 10,00,000 ($16,970 CAD) and getting pension of about 40,000 per month.
