The fondest memory that I have from my childhood is diving into the world of art, patterns, colours and designs and bringing the most unique creations on a piece of paper. Today, having gained extensive experience in the world of fashion and design, along with receiving a fulfilling education, I feel prepared to take the next leap towards higher education in the form of a Master's degree in International Fashion Marketing from your esteemed institution.

I come from a humble background and becoming a fashion designer was a long-awaited dream in the making. A Bachelor's of Science in Costume & Fashion Design was a program that undoubtedly was my calling. My undergraduate degree provided me with a strong foothold in several elements of fashion such as design, clothing culture, brand identity, brand communication, fashion history, design processes, brand placing, pattern making and garment construction. Entrepreneurship Development, Fashion Design and Accessorizing, Fabric Design and structures became the areas that managed to keep me hooked.

After my undergraduate studies, I opted to step foot in the industry and began my stint with [COMPANY], [CITY], a 110-year-old textile showroom. My experience here as a Fashion Designer enabled me to understand the nuances of sales, customised designing, customer-relationship, advertising and marketing. The concept of utilizing fashion marketing first struck me here and has acquired a special place in my heart ever since. While the job came with several challenges, through dedication and perseverance I was able to fulfill most of them. Shortly after gaining many rewarding experiences, I realised how education will enable me to overcome the shortcomings and therefore, I took up a Master's of Science in Textiles & Apparel Design. Post this, I ventured into the industry to work for [COMPANY], to handle their social media platforms and also plan designs for photoshoots and build long-standing client relationships. My work experience has firmed my understanding of the nitty-gritty details of fashion, brand management and marketing, but I only desire to reach the level of an expert in this ever-growing domain.

While internships and project works helped me magnify my knowledge base, through my active participation in several co-curricular activities, I have contributed to my holistic development. I have actively taken part in many art and craft competitions since I was a young girl. During my undergraduate degree, I participated in a fashion show conducted by [INSTITUTION] wherein I took up the role of a Designer. The theme was 'CALICO OF GUJ' and the costumes were designed by implementing various traditional works of Gujarat and blending them with contemporary designs. In alignment with these goals, I could think of no better country than the UK to pursue my Master's. The country is filled with diversity and cultures, thus enabling students to grasp several unique ideas.
