STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

My schooling has witnessed my academic excellence and love for computers and emerging technology. I remember spending time over computers, which were a great deal during my childhood; instead of playing games like the others, I would find myself instilled with curiosity to know more about the internal components and computer systems. After considering such a strong love for technology, I decided to pursue my higher studies and dedicatedly prepared to secure admission to the best, top-rated Indian universities. My rigorous efforts were fruitful as I ranked 492 among 300,000 or more who had appeared for the exam. Such worthy results were a moment of pride for me, and I managed to gain admission in one of the top institutes of Karnataka state, [UNIVERSITY_NAME].

My extensive interest in learning about electronic devices fulfilled my desire through this Computer Science program at [UNIVERSITY_NAME]. My undergraduate academic years should be highly credited in shaping my intense technical knowledge through projects, workshops, extracurricular achievements, etc. Throughout my bachelor's degree, I had been associated with several group projects and individual roles, which broadened my understanding of the whole.

One of the projects, which was also my final year project, titled "Decentralized Cab Services," was based on Blockchain Technology where the user could provide his source and destination details to book a cab. As this project involved blockchain, and as my teammates or I were new to this concept, it was challenging to work on it. However, we completed the project and secured an 'A' grade for the same.

The second major project which I worked on was related to "Cricket Info," which was a web application wherein the user could select from the provided options to book their match tickets to watch from the venue, view the live scores, get the team details, and view their performance and everything related to the match in the same application. Implementing this project was yet another task as using various front-end and back-end technologies, integrating and embedding them into the application was difficult. To get a hold of these details, I contemplated hours of research and external efforts. I ended up learning about new application services with this project, which benefited me.

My first-ever professional exposure commenced in January 2021 with [COMPANY_NAME] as a Full Stack Developer Intern. During my internship tenure, I was given a task to build a Skill Assessment Tool, and upon my successful completion, I secured an 'S' grade in my undergraduate college. I consider my internship highly credible in teaching me about the educational topics and gained extensive knowledge about office culture, employee duties, and ways to maintain a healthy working environment. To further boost my knowledge, I kept a keen eye on available online courses and would make healthy use of the internet to use it effectively in learning the right information related to CS. I have completed an Android Application Development course and a Machine Learning course using Python and R in Data Science.

After completing my bachelor's, I started working with [COMPANY_NAME] as a Software Engineer, where my role is an Application Developer. While working here, I have been actively trained with programming languages, database technologies, and application development and testing. During my training period, I also built a car rental application as part of a project, which was a success.

My extensive exposure to the professional world convinced me to resume my academic career and step ahead with a master's degree, which is essential in the present, ever-growing environment. I aim to excel in Data Science, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence mainly. A master's degree would help me build better services in research areas, projects, and the IT industry. A diversified knowledge in my desired field would open up humungous opportunities for me to look at, explore, and capture at the right time.

Currently, I feel a void in my academic knowledge, which can only be fulfilled through a master's degree, which I chose to pursue from Canada, one of the best student destinations. The wide exposure provided in the country for national and international students intrigued me on pursuing my master's from here. As traveling is one of my favorite things, I prefer studying in Canada, considering the vast travel options here, which would give me some time to explore and learn.

As I plan to pursue a Master's in Computer Science from [UNIVERSITY_NAME], I am excited to learn in-depth about Machine Learning, Data Analytics, Algorithms and Complexity, Artificial Intelligence, Performance Evaluation, Optimization, and Software Engineering. Therefore, this master's degree is a valuable route to my career, and I am eager to achieve this degree with supreme hard work and dedication, which will well support my professional journey ahead.
