I have observed since a young age that the world needs engineers who can solve difficult problems. For me, the field of engineering has always been appealing and very fascinating. It is vast and has several aspects to it which are essential for the overall welfare of the world. The idea of intelligent machines and new algorithms has fascinated me at all times. To know more about these machines and learn how they function, I have earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Instrumentation and Control. During my undergraduate program, I got to know more about robots and space electronics technology. I was instantly hooked on the subject and wanted to expand my knowledge in this field. Now, I am willing to pursue a PhD degree program from [UNIVERSITY_1] in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. By taking up this post-graduate course, I aim to broaden my understanding of digital electronics and computer architecture extensively.

I completed my schooling at [SCHOOL_1], [CITY_1], and cleared my Class 12 board examinations with 87.2%. I applied for my Bachelor's in Instrumentation and Control Engineering from [UNIVERSITY_2]. In India, the courses studied by the students are the result of their performance in the national entrance examination known as JEE Main. Due to my deep interest in Electronics for a long time, I preferred Electronics major over instrumentation. I kept ICE in the second, for it covers all the major topics of electronics and ventures into control theory. Based on my rank, I was unable to get Electronics major but never regretted. I have always believed in spending my time wisely, and I did the same during my college days. I tried to hone my skills in different subjects in the curriculum and took part in technical clubs and several projects.

One of the most challenging and exciting problem I have worked on is Maximum Power Point tracking in PV panel array. Pursuing this problem, we surveyed and studied different algorithm and then designed a novel algorithm. I have designed and optimized a Portable Waveform Generator based on LM741 Op-Amp. I made a simple Flappy Bird Game by using AVR ATTINY85 Microcontroller. One can use an onboard port to install any game that uses two-button control. Taking part in these projects was exciting and offered me a very important learning experience. I learned how to use specialized software like Verilog, Arduino (Atmega 328), Attiny85, and Arduino IDE. By putting in a little more effort, I mastered other tools like Eagle CAD, Xilinx ISE Design Suite 14.7, Multisim.

My college offered me great internship opportunities, and I am thankful for that. I got the chance to be a winter intern at [ORGANIZATION_1] and work in the Laser Application Laboratory. My tasks involved designing, simulating, and studying power electronics circuits. A good amount of experience and knowledge in the field helped me do another internship at [COMPANY_1] as a Summer Intern. This was a highly innovative and exciting project based on developing a drone service platform for industrial applications. I was the Embedded System Developer and responsible for designing the embedded systems of drones for agricultural land levelling equipment. The two major internships in my career have helped me develop the right set of technical, analytical, creative, and interpersonal skills. I have participated in various workshops and seminars related to this field. I took part in the electronics quiz competition, Circuitrix in [UNIVERSITY_3] and [UNIVERSITY_4]. This program will make me capable of contributing to building better machines and highly efficient circuits. After a lot of research and findings, I have concluded that USA is the best place to travel for acquiring a post-graduate degree. I am willing to do something unique and different in my career. In the short term, my main focus is to develop a pollution tracking satellite specifically for cities like [CITY_1].
